Keep your Calliham's tees looking new — wash, dry, and care tips.
A well-cared-for shirt lasts years. Follow these guidelines to keep your Calliham's tees looking as good as the day you bought them.
Turn shirts inside out before washing. Wash cold (30°C / 86°F) on a gentle cycle. Cold water preserves color and prevents shrinkage. Wash darks with darks, lights with lights.
Use a mild detergent. Avoid bleach and fabric softeners — they break down fibers and can cause colors to fade or bleed faster than normal.
Air dry when possible — hang or lay flat. If using a dryer, use low heat only. High heat is the fastest way to shrink a shirt and crack a DTF print.
Iron inside out on low heat if needed. Never iron directly over a printed design. For DTF prints, a cool iron on the reverse side only.
DTF prints are durable, but a little care goes a long way. Always wash inside out on cold and tumble dry on low. Do not iron directly on the print. Avoid dry cleaning. With proper care your DTF print will hold up for years without cracking or fading.
Don't over-wash — washing after every wear isn't necessary for most tees. Let your shirt air out between wears when possible. Store folded, not hung, to prevent shoulder stretching on heavier knits. If you have a stain, treat it promptly with cold water — hot water sets stains.
